National ALS Day - A Network That Leaves No One Alone

In Lurate Caccivio, the lead municipality for the province of Como, Minister for Disabilities Alessandra Locatelli took part on 17 September in the 19th National ALS Day.

The Town Hall, illuminated in green, joined hundreds of squares, buildings and landmarks across Italy in raising awareness of people living with ALS and their families.

"Building a network means leaving no one alone," Locatelli said, thanking AISLA Como, volunteers, associations, families, mayors and local authorities.

The same message was shared through a live connection with other Italian towns and cities: "People helping people."
