Prima le Persone stops in Rozzano. A round table with the Municipality and Civil Protection

Minister Locatelli: the aim is to promote and support effective local projects by building networks among institutions, organisations and Third Sector bodies

The launch of a permanent round table bringing together institutions, Civil Protection, the Municipality and the Third Sector to strengthen the service network and support projects for persons with disabilities. This is the commitment announced by Minister for Disabilities Alessandra Locatelli during a meeting in the council chamber of the Municipality of Rozzano, on the occasion of the third event in the national Prima le Persone initiative, following previous stops in Tor Bella Monaca in Rome and Ercolano in the province of Naples.

'We will launch a round table with Civil Protection and the Municipality, with the aim of promoting and supporting effective local projects by connecting institutions, organisations and Third Sector bodies,' the Minister said.

During the meeting, Locatelli reiterated the value of cooperation among the various actors involved in disability policies. 'Building networks is essential in order to develop increasingly effective initiatives that can respond concretely to the needs of persons with disabilities and their families. Dialogue, the sharing of good practices and the development of common pathways strengthen our communities and make them more cohesive and inclusive,' she stressed.

Prima le Persone is designed to collect experiences, proposals and good practices from local areas in order to encourage the spread of effective models nationwide.

'The initiative was also created with this objective: to listen, engage in dialogue and highlight concrete proposals that can be replicated and promoted throughout the country, always placing the person and their Life Project at the centre,' Minister Locatelli concluded.
