UK Blue Badge Parking Permit Recognized in Italy

"The parking permit issued by the United Kingdom for parking and access to restricted traffic zones (ZTL), the Parking Card for Persons with Disabilities (Blue Badge), is finally recognized in Italy. I am very pleased with the agreement reached and the solution found by our countries; this is an important step forward in fostering mobility and independence for persons with disabilities. We will continue working to ensure maximum accessibility for everyone in our country and to protect all the rights of persons with disabilities, including when they travel."

This was stated by the Minister for Disabilities, Alessandra Locatelli.
